FIREARM PURCHASING REQUIREMENTS

It is Required for you to have a copy of your signed Federal Firearms License, or 03 Collector of Curio & Relics License on file with us when ordering Firearms from this Website. It is also required to have a copy of any local or state licenses required for a firearm purchase to be on file.

All orders placed without, or prior to, a signed copy of the Federal Firearms License (or other necessary licensing) on file may be Canceled without notice. AIM, Inc. reserves the right to limit the purchase of multiple Firearms.

Don’t have a Federal Firearms License or 03 Collector or Curio & Relics License? Not as big of a deal as you may think.

AIM has created a simple way to locate a dealer in your area who is willing to process a firearm(s) transfer via the AIM FFL Dealer Network.

fflLTDN1

The process is easy:

Each of the FFL dealers in the network has already agreed to transfer firearms to you, the consumer, for a specified fee(s). Simply locate a dealer in your area, carefully review the dealer’s terms and fees and then complete your order. The firearm(s) will be shipped to the business address of the dealer with your name and contact number attached.

If your dealer is not listed as part of the Transfer Dealer Network, please call or email, and we can always check to see if they have an FFL on file.

If your preferred dealer’s FFL is not on file, no worries! All we would need is a valid, signed copy of their FFL to ship to them. Before placing an order, please follow these steps:

  • Contact the dealer you would like to use and make sure they will receive the firearm(s) for you, and are not closed for business or are otherwise not receiving transfers.

Don’t assume a dealer will receive a firearm for you, contact them first! AIM will not be responsible for packages returned to us that are refused delivery, and you will be liable for additional shipping charges to re-ship your order.

  • Have the dealer fax a signed copy of their FFL to 513-424-9970, or email a copy to ffl@aimsurplus.com. If they need a copy of AIM’s FFL, it is available on our website or we can send them a copy upon request.
  • Once we have a copy of the dealer’s FFL, you can order online anytime, or by phone Monday through Friday, 9am – 5pm EST.

If you are ordering online, and your dealer is not part of the dealer network, all you have to do is EDIT your shipping address; change it to your FFL dealer’s name and address, and that will tell us where you would like the order shipped:

While checking out, click on the EDIT Button* under your shipping address to change your shipping address (See Below):

SHippingEDIT

*If you have a C&R 03 FFL, or are a resident of Illinois and have a FOID, your address is locked and cannot be changed, and the EDIT button will not be present. You can still checkout, you will just have to call or email after placing an order to let us know what dealer you’d like to ship to.

Firearm Shipping Information:

For accurate shipping costs, please place firearm and ammunition orders separately, as firearms and ammunition cannot be shipped in the same package. Before placing an order for multiple items:

  • We cannot split an order so that firearms go to the dealer and the ammo/accessories ship to you, so other items must be ordered separately if you want them to ship to your address.
  • If you do order a firearm and ammunition/accessory items in the same order, and it is shipping to a dealer, be sure to confirm with the dealer that they will accept the other items.
  • AIM, Inc. will not be responsible for packages returned to us that are refused delivery, and you will be liable for additional shipping charges to re-ship your ammunition.

(Click here to see our ammunition purchasing requirements).

All rifles will be shipped UPS Ground (no PO Box addresses, please) to the lower 48 states, and USPS to Alaska and Hawaii.

Unless specifically requested, handguns will ship UPS 2nd Day Air to C&R holders and US Priority Mail to dealers.

  • Handguns can only ship UPS 2nd Day Air Monday through Wednesday, and UPS Next Day Air can ship Monday through Thursday, per UPS shipping restrictions.
